The art of staying true to yourself

The world of travel has never changed faster.

New hotels open every month. Design follows new trends, gastronomy explores new directions, and guest expectations rise year after year. In such a world, it is easy to believe that the value of a place depends on how quickly it changes.

Perhaps the opposite is true.

Perhaps the greatest value lies not in constantly becoming something else, but in preserving, through every change, what made people want to return in the first place.

THREE GENERATIONS

Today, Maestral welcomes families who have been returning for three generations. Guests who once spent their summers here now come with their own children. Such trust does not happen by chance. It is built through years of consistency, care, and an understanding that development only has meaning if it does not erase identity.

CHANGING WHILE STAYING TRUE TO YOURSELF

In recent years, Maestral has evolved. New spaces, new gastronomy, new facilities, and new experiences were not introduced simply because they were fashionable, but because they had a purpose. Every change was a natural continuation of a story that has been unfolding for decades.

WHEN CHANGE HAS A PURPOSE

Olive Fest is more than just an event. It was created out of respect for the olive tree, which is an inseparable part of this region. The olive harvest and the production of award-winning olive oil confirm that attention to detail extends far beyond the hotel service itself.

Oli, guardian of the olive grove and mascot of the Kids Club, introduces children to nature and environmental care through play. Even his name comes from the word “olive”.

Pasta, Sole e Amore revives the tradition of Festa degli Spaghetti, while Lebanese and Chinese cuisine reflect the international character of the hotel’s guests.

In the end, perhaps the greatest value of a hotel is not found in the number of stars, awards, or investments.

It lies in the fact that the children of guests who once spent their summers here now return with children of their own.

That is the story of Maestral.
